FUJITO x FUJINO Interview Part 3

The Road Ahead: Still Full of Passion

Today, Paddlers and FUJITO are found in stores around the world. But even as their businesses grow, Masa Fujino and Go Fujito continue to value real connections over speed or trends.

For Masa, it’s about sharing stories, building friendships, and introducing thoughtful Japanese craftsmanship to people who truly appreciate it. Looking to the future, he hopes to one day share another passion of his: Japanese craft beer. “If I can turn that into work, I’ll have a good excuse to drink more beer,” he jokes.

Go also wants to take FUJITO further out into the world. His first overseas pop-up, held in Switzerland last season, was a small but meaningful step. “There was a language barrier,” he says, “but the customers were so warm and curious. I felt a strong connection even without words.”

Both men turn 50 this year, and they laugh when they say, “Together, we’re 100.” But they’re not slowing down. In fact, they’re already preparing for the next big step, presenting the Spring Summer 2026 Paddlers Showroom in Paris, New York, Seoul, Taipei, and London.

Their journey is still unfolding, but one thing stays constant: a deep respect for people, quality, and the joy of doing what they love.
